The first step of the procedure is to administer numbing eye drops so you don’t feel any pain or discomfort during the surgery.
The next step is to create the corneal flap using femtosecond laser instead of a mechanical blade in traditional LASIK.
Once the flap has been created, the surgeon makes use of an excimer laser to reshape the corneal tissue.
The corneal flap is then positioned back into its original place. The procedure does not require any stitches.
